Learning Unlocks Every Child’s Potential

What if every child, regardless of where they are born, had the chance to unlock their full potential? The truth is, most won’t.

In high-income countries, 9 out of 10 children can read by age 10. In the rest of the world – where 90% of the world’s children live – this number is just 3 in 10. Without support to achieve this foundational level of literacy, children are denied the opportunity to reach their full potential. 

The scale of the crisis is staggering, affecting one billion children globally.

Governments around the world have been working to address this issue together with the global educational community. They all share a goal: to reach the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4 and to bring foundational skills to all learners globally by 2030.

At EIDU, we’re enhancing existing solutions and supporting the collective effort that will make this goal a reality. It’s ambitious, but it’s achievable. We’re driving further collaboration, partnering with governments, equipping teachers and communities with resources, and accelerating learning outcomes for all students.
