EIDU was born in Kibera, Nairobi – one of Africa’s largest slums – in 2015. Since then we have developed our learning platform and made it available to thousands of schools across Kenya, Nigeria and Ghana.

Our Leadership
We are led by two successful serial tech entrepreneurs who both have experience in building and scaling digital platforms. The founder of EIDU, Bernd Roggendorf, co-founded Ableton – a global market leader in music creation – and served as the company’s CTO. Arne Bleckwenn, our CEO, is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in scaling to millions of users globally in the start-ups he founded including WIMDU, which scaled to 15+ countries and raised $90 m in funding.
